Sunday Funday

Jim came back this morning and brought Keith along. We left to get the tide and it paid off pretty well. The guys were throwing flies and the bass were scattered but hungry. We ended the trip with a double and called it a day.

Back to it

Thursday morning brought Peter back with his sil Tom for his first trip in the salt. We left early in the fog to catch the remaining tide. It was running pretty good when we arrived and soon we found what we had come for. We had a pretty good pick till the tide petered out. […]

We are still here

This past week brought our granddaughter up from South Carolina to do some fishing. She wanted bottom fish so off we went. Lots of small stuff around but she landed a seven pound fluke that was 25 inches long. She finished the week with a four foot sandshark. We went through 15 pounds of squid […]

One of those days

This morning Dr Jeff brought his son in law Jason up for a Fathers Day trip on the briney. We left early to catch the ebb tide while it was still moving. We tried eight different spots on both tides and it was like fishing in a desert. There was absolutely no signs of life […]

Happy New Year

It looks to be a cold start to 2025. I can’t believe that this is going to be my 28th season as a Guide on the briney. It’s still fun so I’m going to keep doing it. The good news is that Charter prices will stay the same as the past few years. The fishing […]
