Still here

sandy-16-albie Gail and I left the dock at a reasonable hour to see what we could find. first up were some albies. The only consistent thing about them this year is that they can be real fussy. I managed to get one to bite and he was about 10 lbs. The first run was close to 100 yards so that was fun. After that we picked at stripers in the rocks along the shore. For most of the day we didn’t have another boat within a mile of us. There is only a week or two at the most left to this season.  So now is the time to go.
